She waited, she watched, she did her best to understand.
Her heart frozen in ice so thick no flame could burn through. The ice she
formed herself from her own tears that none might know tears had ever been
shed. She lay stone behind the ice tears and behind that her secret thoughts
and emotions. The blaze of her spirit shines through, creating prisms in the
clear cold ice. You can see her, but you cannot touch her, you cannot thaw the
tears of ice. She looks at you, breaths on the ice to thin it, reaches for you.
But she draws back, her eyes distant, her face as the stone protecting her. She
speaks, but you only hear her from a distance as though both time and space
stretches out between you. Unknowable. She turns, her body stiff, her
movements indifferent, she will not look at you. She has no more to say.
